The Forbidden Music Overture & Music to a story written by Richard Baker, for narrator & full symphony orchestra, including up to 5 percussion & harp.

Parts can be provided to suit your needs. Duration 25mins. £60

Rainbow Island – A musical setting of a story (by L.S.) originally written for multiple bassoons for Leipzig Bassoon Festival. Re-written for narrator, chamber orchestra, with parts for children with a range of ability levels playing recorders, percussion (or parts for any available instruments) With songs & opportunities for dance & mime, cross curricular art work etc. Ideal for whole school projects.

Originally performed by children from Vicar’s Green Primary School, Ealing, with members of Ealing Chamber Music Club.

Duration 30mins. £50 – £60 depending on part requirements.


A Day on Temperate Earth – A piece inspired by poems selected to describe the passage of a day.

The musical duration is 7 minutes, but it could be performed interspersed with the poems. A range of parts could be produced for chamber or symphony orchestra, to suit your needs £40 – £50


Jurassical Music Music to a story written by Richard Baker, for narrator & full symphony orchestra. Parts can be provided to suit your needs.

Wind Dragon A fantasy about a music loving dragon who helps children care for the environment. It was written for the 70th anniversary of a Vicar’s Green Primary school, for chamber orchestra & 240 children, involving songs, recorder orchestra, hand bells, percussion, rapping, and the inclusion of short melodies composed by the children, orchestrated & fitted into the story. The performance duration in this form is an hour, and is specific to the environment & culture(s) of this school, but the story could be re-written to be relevant to any school or youth group. There would need to be discussion about your specific needs if this project appeals to you.

Hoist The Planets –

A prequel to Jurassical Music for the same forces, and originally performed by the same orchestra, conductor – Robert Jacoby, Story by Richard Baker & Narrator Martin Clunes.

Duration 20 mins. £60 With a reduction for any group wishing to perform both works.

Pass the Baton

A romp of a musical relay race between sections of the orchestra, this  story by Richard Baker, was originally performed by the Dorset orchestra with Robert Jacoby conducting & Martin Clunes narrating       Duration 15mins £50

Orange Dances

For chamber orchestra. originally performed with additional choral sections, for a concert celebrating a Cumbrian Marmalade  Festival.  Duration 10mins £30
